Earthlings, we do not understand you sometimes, well most of the time. You have an opportunity to save the planet and get things for free, yet you continue to be defiant. I am speaking of your newspaper and magazine subscriptions.
You have a crude technology sphere called the Internet. Compared to the technology on our planet, it is primitive, but it works.
Earthlings, if you have access to Internet, you can get all your information for FREE, unless it is The Wall Street Journal. There is no need to subscribe to magazines or newspapers. You can save money, and receive all this information and more, faster and much better over the Internet. Most important, you will not use tree materials which are processed and made into paper.
Earthlings, you can access New York Times, USA Today, Time,
Wired, Business Week, People, Forbes, Economist, National Geographic all for FREE. In addition, you can access thousands of blogs which provide great information and opinion for free.
By the time you receive the magazine or newspaper the information is already old news. So
stop those wasteful snail-mail subscriptions this instant. Earthlings,
we beg you to come to your senses: save money and save the planet.
Here is the money you are wasting each year on paper subscriptions:
New York Times (daily) $588.80
USA Today (daily) $164.00
Time (weekly) $39.90
Wired (monthly) $10
Business Week (50 issues) $40
People (26 issues) $48.78
Forbes (26 issues) $29.99
Economist (weekly) $98
National Geographic (monthly) $15
Woman's Day (monthly) $10
Elle (monthly) $10
Earthlings, as you can see, if you are subscribed to all these magazine and cancel them, you will save $1054.47 per year. Think of all the trees you will save which can
stay in the forest to produce oxygen for Earthlings to breath.
Use your common sense. Survive the recession by being smart. Inform and entertain yourself for free.
