Earthlings, have fun with your kids during the economic recession. Your children are smart. Children do not go to war. Children are not prejudiced. Our observations show that it is when children become adults, everything goes to hell and they become Didiots.
Your children know when there is a recession. They notice fewer theater and restaurant visits. They notice the lack of new toys. They see you tearing your hair out while paying bills. They are not Didiots like many adults. They do not listen to financial analysts on CNBC and CNN telling the public everything is okay.
Earthlings, children do not need money as adults do. They can live happily through the economic recession. Let them be children. There are many free or nearly free things you can do with your children.
Top 10 Recession-Proof Activities to Enjoy with Your Children:
1: Trade Toys with your friends. Package the 'new' toy in recyclable material, and give it to your children as a recession gifts.
2: Take your children to park and play with them. We do not mean to take them to park and dump them off. Play with your children on the swings. Do not be an adult Didiot and just show up at the park and converse on your cell phone the entire time, as your kids try to convince you to play. You need the free exercise and entertainment during the recession, even more than the little humans do.
3: Swim in a lake or pool with your children. Walk or ride a bike to the pool or lake to save gas. Swim and have water fun with them. Do not pay other humans to teach your children to swim. Enjoy teaching them yourself.
4: Spend time with your little Earthlings. It is free. They will grow up soon so enjoy them now. Your attention is more valuable to them than your Earthly gold.
5: Make up bedtime stories with your children.
Do not read to them. Invent an intergalactic story and continue it
every night. This is fun for the entire family. Be warned. Please do
not plagiarize Star Wars, or George Lucas might have his attorney send
a letter to you.
6: Draw pictures with your children. It has been proven by Earthling scientists that drawing increases the mental power of humans. Art has always been a huge part of the human culture. Continue the tradition. If you do not know how to draw, borrow drawing books from the library and learn with your children. Use pencil, crayons, color, anything. Make it fun. Who knows, maybe there is a Picasso or Michelangelo in your family.
7: Bake cookies.
Have fun making and eating cookies and cakes with your children.
Homemade foods are cheaper and often healthier and tastier than
store-bought. If you really want to make it fun, have a cookie contest.
8: Don't be sorry, play Sorry! Play Monopoly. These games are fun for the entire family. Warning, Earthlings! These games, if not handled properly can also create fights amongst siblings.
9: Ride your bikes. Earthlings, you may not be aware, but your children like riding bikes. Ride along with them on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Ride to the park or find some fun biking routes to get in touch with nature.
10: Play futebol (soccer).
We have not been on planet Earth long enough to understand you humans.
You are not very logical in most of the things you do. We do understand
one thing about you, Earthlings:
We can see why Earthlings love to play and watch futebol. Futebol is the most recession-proof sport on the planet. All you need is a ball and your feet.
My wife Meera is as mad about futebol as Zorkey, Drauk and I. What makes it special for her is that handsome Earthling, David Beckham. Meera tells me that if is she was not married to me for 1,578 years, and was not in love with me, she would ask David Beckham if they could have sexual pleasure together.
Earthlings, go out there and kick the futebol. Bend it like Beckham. We are amazed at David Beckham's ability to defy gravitational forces and bend the ball like he does.
There is a reason why 250 million Earthlings play the game every day and 1/3 of the Planet watched FIFA
World Cup Final. The reason is logical and simple: Futebol is a beautiful and fun game.
As the Earthlings say: GOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLL!

Great site! Love the aliens. This post had some great ideas. I owe my daughter the ending of a long bedtime story we started months ago that I've been putting off. You've inspired me to finish it tonight. Would you believe it's about alien children from a parallel universe?!!
