UFO Recession Tip 69 - How to Be a Frugal Beauty

69frugalbeauty_5

Dear Earthling, your beautiful Earth will give you all of the natural beauty products you need. Helen of Troy and Cleopatra did not need to purchase expensive skin care products at a department or drug store, so why would you? Make your own natural beauty products, avoid unhealthy chemicals and save money during the recession.

For beautiful skin: Beauties of ancient civilizations poured milk in their bath water to soften their skin. Lactic acid in milk exfoliates your skin while the fat moisturizes. Use powdered milk in your bath and you will love the results. And you will love the savings.

Zorkplanetsqad200Aspirin is closely related to salicylic acid. It has exfoliating and anti-inflammatory properties and is useful for treating and preventing acne.

Apple Cider Vinegar contains natural alpha hydroxyl acids. It is full of enzymes which will soften and remove dead skin cells.

Baking Soda can be mixed with cleaners or used alone for a great daily exfoliator.

Epsom Salt can be used on your body to relax, exfoliate and soften skin. Do not use on the face or neck.

Honey is a natural antiseptic and antibacterial. It is a wonderful cleanser for oily and acne-prone skin. It contains anti-oxidants which helps moisturize.

Lemon Juice exfoliates and brightens skin. The fruit acids  gently remove dead skin cells and bleaches darkened or discolored areas.

Oatmeal will naturally calm your skin and reduce inflammation. It contains silicon and other minerals which soothe skin and can relieve itching or inflammation.

Olive Oil contains wonderful antioxidants and vitamins. It is a terrific natural moisturizer for the skin.  It moisturizes and protects without clogging pores.

Meera's Favorite Beauty Tricks: Many store-bought skin products contain preservatives and chemicals which can cause skin cancer. Aluminum and parabens in your beauty products can make humans sick. Simply splash warm water on your face and apply honey. Then add sugar and rub over your skin to exfoliate. Try raw sugar. Gently rub it in until it dissolves and then rinse.

Witch hazel is a natural toner which is very cheap. A sliced and cool cucumber can soothe and reduce swelling of puffy eyes in the morning.

The best eye makeup remover: olive oil plus an organic cotton ball.

Never shampoo again. All of your hair shampoos, gels, sprays and mousses can cause chemicals to build up in your hair. Never shampoo again and be healthier and have better hair. See UFO Recession Tip 72 - Save Money, Stop Using Shampoo!

The Fountain of Youth: The best thing you can do to be beautiful and have great skin is FREE. Drink lots of water. Drink your eight to ten glasses a day to remove impurities in your body and skin and have a natural, youthful glow.Alienemail2_2_4
