We have noticed Earthlings are obsessed about the clothing they wear. We are sorry humans have not yet evolved past wearing clothing like we have. We do not recommend you buy new dresses, suits or pants until the recession is safely over.
Your old suit may contain memories of bad board meetings, boring weddings, or other things you replay in your humanoid brains every time you pull it out of the closet.
Your old suit can become a new suit full of hope and potential to another Earthling. Whip it out of your closet, take some photos and make it a STAR on the information superhighway at a place called eBay.
If you do not have much to sell, try selling your underwear. We hear that there are some weird humans out
there who will buy underwear worn by others. We give you this information to prove the point that on eBay there is always some human willing to buy anything, no matter what.
We are also in a quandary. Since we are stuck on Earth temporarily, and have decided to sell our alien underwear in order to raise funds for our return home. We hope the three-cup bra won't give us away.
Selling on eBay can be fun, cheap entertainment for some humans. It will also add dollars to your bank account. Here is the choice, tired old suit hanging in the closet full of old memories you may not like, or a few dollars to go out and have a nice dinner (split it with someone you like) - but resist temptation and pay down a credit card instead!
Don't forget that when you're on eBay, you're there to sell, sell, sell. Do not get hung up trying to buy someone else's underwear or brassiere.
GREEN ALERT: When you recycle your clothing to someone else you are helping to save your planet's environment!

What does everyone bet the Human Anthony Emerson works for gulfcoastinternationalproperties!!! LOL - I guess it's free advertising, and helps the "links to us" ratio
That being said, I too agree that ebay or Craigslist.com (since it's free) is a great place to sell during a ression or anytime!

I love the blog, but this is one I've got to disagree with.
Take advantage of the buyer's market. eBay, Craigslist, and other sites where prices are determined by demand have lower prices than ever right now. As a seller, you'll get less cash for your goods in a recession than you would in a time in which everybody is buying.
Even cars and houses are at historically low prices. I work with a client who sells luxury homes ( http://www.gulfcoastinternationalproperties.com/ ),
and their prices are lower than ever. The houses may be ridiculously expensive and may seem like a bad purchase in a recession, but they're a better deal than ever. If a recovery happens soon, someone stands to make some money reselling them.
That said, eBay will always be a way to make a little extra money off of some junk and, as you said, provide "fun, cheap entertainment for some humans."
